A.O.C. 33% Vol.

1. Presentation

a. Bordeaux is a city in the South-West of France, capital of the Aquitaine region and part of the Gironde district. Famous world-wide for its wine, and soon for its own Ultimate Team! The region has a powerful cultural heritage:

• world-renowned vineyards on Bordeaux's doorstep: Saint-Emilion, Médoc, Graves, Sauternes;
• The Arcachon Basin with all it's attractions, only 40 minutes from Bordeaux: swimming, sailing, diving, oysters, hiking in national parks;
• The Atlantic Ocean with its extensive beaches, bordered by scented pine forests. Surf, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are all available, 45 minutes away by road;
• Bordeaux's Three M's: Montaigne, Montesquieu, Mauriac! Monuments, museums, parks, gardens and traditional regional restaurants are scattered throughout the city.

b. The 33Tours invite YOU to their very first Ultimate Outdoor A.O.C (Aquitaine Open Competition) 33% Vol. which takes place over the first weekend of September: 2nd and 3rd September 2006. The Tournament is open to all Ultimate teams but only 12 will be retained. We have a superb complex at our disposal, giving us two full-scale Ultimate pitches – more information can be found here.
The Tournament weekend offers you two days of Ultimate fun, a swimming pool will be available and of course the Friday and Saturday night parties will get you in a frenzy. The Team and Player fees includes 2 breakfasts, the Saturday evening meal, lodgings and automatic inscription to the weekend's highlight Wine Race Contest.

2. Enrollment

a. Send your team's inscription through to cestcri@yahoo.fr and include your team's name, home town and a valid email contact for your Tournament Organizer. We will ask you for some more information to complete your enrollment but only once your inscription is confirmed.

b. The Enrollment window is open until the 28 May 2006 and the final team list will be drawn up on the 5 June 2006. Payment for the Team and Player fees is due before the 30 June 2006. Any team who has not settled the fees by this date will be replaced by a team from the waiting list. Once all this is settled, let the anticipation build up and then come and take your place on the fields bathed in the lovely Bordeaux September sunshine!

c. 50€ per team is required for the Team Fee and we currently offer a single weekend Player formula: 50€ per player including the welcome BBQ on the Friday evening, 2 nights in on-site lodgings or in a nearby hotel (Pessac), 2 full breakfasts and a copious Buffet on the Saturday evening! 3. Setting and Access

We have a superb sporting complex at our disposal, including the two Ultimate playing fields, a swimming pool set in a green and welcoming 13.5 hectare park. Half of the teams will be lodged on-site in brand-new bungalows and the other half will be comfortably installed in a Hôtel Première Classe in Pessac, a town just on the other side of the A63 motorway and easily accessible by car. Bordeaux can be reached by a few major motorways, the national TGV (train) line and by air (the airport is only 15 minutes away from the playing fields).
